The Karakoram mountains range

Karakoram mountain range is a large mountain range. This mountain range is spread in three countries Pakistan, India and China. Location of this range is in Gilgit-Baltistan (Pakistan), Ladakh (India) and Xinjiang (China). This range is called greater range of Asia.

This range is home of high peaks. The mighty K2 (8611 m) second highest peak of the world is part of this range, located in Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan.

Karakoram mountains range

This range is about 500 km in length, and is covered with snow. This range is most heavily glaciated part of the world. The Siachen glacier at 70 km and the Biafo glacier at 63 km is also part of this mighty mountain range and rank as the worlds second and third longest glaciers outside the polar regions. Almost 28-50 % of this range is glaciated.

Masherbrum Peak Gilgit-Baltistan

Masherbrum peak is the highest peak of the Masherbrum Mountains,subrange of the Karakoram range.It is also famous as K1.This peak is located in the Ghanche district Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan.It is worlds 22nd highest peak and  9th highest peak in Pakistan.

Elevation of this peak is 7821m.

Meaning of Masherbrum is not clear.It may also come from masha (queen or lady) so it means queen of peaks.

First ascents of this peak are George Bell and Willi Unsoeld.

The Biafo Glacier is long glacier in the Karakoram mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan.This glacier is 63 km long.This glacier create the worlds longest glacier system outside the polar region.43 km of this glacier is located in Hispar valley of Nagar.This highway of ice connects two ancient mountain kingdoms,Nagar-Hunza in the west with Baltistan in the east.

Biafo Glacier Hispar Nagar Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan

The Biafo glacier is the world's third longest glacier outside of the polar regions.The glacier is icon of beauty in the world.This glacier is used for ice sliding game by tourists.

Tourism:

During summer's this glacier is best tourism spot in Nagar.Camping in Hisper valley Nagar is best camping spot for tourists.Mango and Namla the first two campsites,are often covered in flowers and Namla has an incredible waterfall very near the camping area.A large green meadow called Baintha is often used as a rest day.This region is also suitable for rock climbing and rappelling.

Diran Peak Nagar Gilgit Pakistan

Diran Peak Minapin Nager

Diran Peak :

Is a mountain in the Karakuram mountain range. Height of this peak is 7266 meters. This Peak lies to the east of Rakaposhi. This peak is covered with white snow throughout the year.

Location:

The location of this peak is Minapin Valley Nagar Pakistan. The bottom land piece of Diran Peak is called Tagafari, this place is covered with the landscape's and famous for local pasture land.

Tourism:

Tourist's from all around the world visit Minapin Nagar and Diran Peak. Minapin Valley and Diran Peak is most incredible Place to visit in summers. The valley is famous for climbing Peak's and for adventure.

'Mother of Mist' Rakaposhi:

Rakaposhi means "Snow Covered".It is situated in the Nagar Valley Gilgit.It is ranked 27th highest in the world and 12th in Pakistan.This mountain covered with snow through out the year.

There ar brilliant views of Rakaposhi from the Karakorum Range route on the route through Hunza. A tourist spot within the city of Ghulmat (located within the Nagar Valley) known as "Zero purpose of Rakaposhi" is that the nearest convenient read purpose of the mountain.
