Fairy meadows is located in Diamar District Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan near the base camp of Nanga Parbat.The German climbers named it. The altitude of the meadows is about 3300 meters above the sea level.In 1995 Government of Pakistan declared it a National park.

Fairy meadows has been a great source of delight for climbers, back packers, wildlife researchers and Photographers besides nature lovers. The meadows has pine forest which is one of the virgin forests in the north of Pakistan. From this point tourists can enjoy incredible view of Nanga Parbat, which at 8126 m, the 9th highest mountain peak in the world and second in Pakistan after K2. Pakistan generates about 17 million revenue of tourism from this tourism spot.

The grass land of Fairy meadows is surrounded by thick alpine forest. In the region brown bears and musk deer are found. This landscape is home of birds and wildlife animals.
The tourism in this region starts in April and continues until the end of September. This landscape is visit by large number of tourists in summer's. Friendly and experienced mountain guides, accompany the tourists, taking them to different treks. Fairy meadows is famous and best option of camping. Cottages are also hired on rent. Hotels with international food menu provides best and delicious food. High security is provided to tourists from Government.
